과학자이자, 엔지니어, 해부학자이기도 한 레오나르도 다빈치의 정신을 현대에 재해석해, Nobu Suetake가 창출한 혁신적 아트 작품. 인류의 지혜와 지구가 자란 기적의 '미'의 에센스를 응축하고, 유일무이의 기법으로 구현화된 본작은 바로 21세기의 아트와 기술의 결정이다.
본작은, Nobu Suetake가 독자적으로 개발해, 2024년에 특허 출원중의 「레진 3D 리터치법」으로 제작. 60대의 SLR 카메라에서 추출한 플렉시블 기판을 투명 아크릴판에 레진으로 봉입하고, 그것을 촬영·리터치한 화상을 캔버스에 특수 프린트. 게다가 눈부신 보석과 지구외 물질, 역사적 유물, 최신 기술 부품에 이르기까지 모든 “미”를 층상으로 레진으로 거듭한다는 전례없는 표현 기술을 채용하고 있다.
사용된 소재는 오팔, 루비 원석, 에메랄드 원석, 옥, 진주, 자수정, 터키석, 수정, 황수정, 마노와 같은 천연석 외에 운석, 고대의 화살, 로만 유리 , 다양하다.
이러한 소재가 치밀하고 아름답게 층을 이루는 것으로, 미지의 미래도시——우주에 떠 있는 이상향과 같은 도시상이 떠오른다.
《브라운서킷 시티》는 단순한 시각예술에 머무르지 않고, 「인류의 지혜×지구의 기적×시간과 기술의 집적」에 의해 방어된, 장대한 시공을 넘은 비전 그 자체이다.

An innovative artwork by Nobu Suetake, inspired by a modern reinterpretation of the spirit of Leonardo da Vinci—scientist, engineer, and anatomist. This work condenses the essence of “beauty” born from the wisdom of humanity and the miracles of the Eartha-realed technique. It is a true fusion of 21st-century art and technology.
The piece was created using Suetake's original “Resin 3D Retouch Technique,” developed independently and filed for patent in 2024. Flexible circuits extracted from 60 DSLR cameras were embedded in clear acrylic with resin, photographed, digitally retouch On top of this, dazzling gemstones, extraterrestrial materials, historical relics, and cutting-edge technological components were layered meticulously with resin in a completely new form of expression.
Materials used include natural stones such as opal, raw ruby, raw emerald, jade, pearl, amethyst, turquoise, quartz, citrine, and agate; as well as meteorites, ancient arrowheads, Roman glass, Roman silver and copper coins, electrongg, gla boards, watch movements, and even nail art elements.
Through the careful and beautiful layering of these diverse elements, the vision of an unknown futuristic city—an ideal metropolis floating in space—emerges from the surface.
“Brown Circuit City” is more than a visual artwork; it is a transcendent vision woven from the convergence of human wisdom, Earth's miracles, and the accumulation of time and technology.
